When do I feed food and when do I offer water and when do I breastfeed?! My DD is 6months has been exclusively breastfed, but I've introduced one bottle of formula in the day. She's started to eat pureed food about a month ago but now I'm offering more, I'm not sure when to offer what! Help!!

I did meals at 8am, 12pm and 5pm. The milk feeds stayed at roughly the same times and the amounts started to drop as the solids intake increased. I gave water alongside the meals.

I mean the milk feeds stayed at around 7am, 11am, 3pm and 7pm (bottle fed) and the meals were in between these times

I continued to bf completely as normal, and gave meals when I had them, so roughly 8am, 1pm, 6pm. Offered water with the meals. Still the same a year later, except she has snacks instead of bf and has a cup of milk in the afternoon.

Introduce "meal times". Breakky lunch and dinner. Even at a young age they will start to learn that they are getting solids at these time. The times may vary a little day to day. But it gets them in the habit of 3 meals a day.

My 9mo gets solids: breaky at 8ish, lunch at 12ish and dinner at 4.30ish

Bottles early morning bottle 7.15 snack 2-2.30ish and bedtime 6.30

This has been our routine for about 4 weeks. Before that he had an extra bottle at about 11am and lunch was a bit later.

Good luck.
