DD currently has:
Morning breast feed followed by toast or cereal an hour later.
Then mid morning breast feed.
Then a lunch, (ie. pasta, or sandwiches, with yoghurt/fruit)
The mid arvo breastfeed.
Then Dinner, (ie. fishpie/spag bol with yoghurt/fruit)
Then breast feed before bed.

Does seem about right?

I am wanting to move away from breast feeding onto a sippy cup and so am dropping the mid arvo and mid morning breast feeds soon, replacing with a beaker. I know she will take less milk so should I also introduce some kind of snack to go with this?

Thanks for your help!

She's doing really well. Does she feed at night at all? I wonder if she'll take ebm in a cup instead of dropping those milk feeds altogether. Otherwise you run the risk of her waking more at night to feed.

I was planning on giving her formula in a sippy cup mid morning and afternoon, with a snack aswell to try and prevent a decrease in daytime calories. Would this not prevent extra waking in the night?

oh, and in answer to your question, she does feed in the night, but i think out of comfort and we are working on night weaning at the moment and last night she got to 3am without waking for a feed.

Sounds fine to me! You are lucky to have such a good eater.
