tummy upset?

We've been (sort of baby-led) weaning ds (nearly 8 months) for 1.5 months, very slowly - he has lunch and dinner along with bf on demand and we've only introduced potato, apple, sweet potato, pumpkin/butternut squash, carrot and parsnip so far. This week we've added broccoli and banana to his diet (banana just this afternoon). He doesn't seem to have reacted adversely to anything so far, or if so, it hasn't been obvious. Over the last couple of days he's been sleeping even less than usual (which, believe me, is hard - separate issue and we're working on it), and especially today he's been very grumpy, cry-ey and farty, not eating much and his poos are green and quite watery (he's always pooed a lot and quite often had green poo when he was just on bm). He seems OK in himself and is still playing etc., but just pretty unsettled and unhappy. His sleeping's even more messed up than usual times-wise, so it might just be overtiredness (and he is certainly tired), but the farts and the poos (and the fact that he doesn't really seem to like broccoli) have got me wondering. Could it be a reaction to the broccoli, or a stomach upset, or just one of those things? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Well, broccoli can give adults pretty bad wind so it might be worth abandoning it for a week and seeing if there's an improvement.
