DS is 7mo and having 3 meals a day.
I feel he is getting a varied and nutritious diet from his dinners so can I now introduce cow's milk as a drink?

Not 100% sure, but I think the guidelines are to wait until at least 12 months-the digestive system is still immature/risk of allergies or something like that. 7 months is still tiny!

Cows' milk is salty in comparison with bm or f, so stick with those until 12mos, with small amounts of water with meals.

I was told 12 months as well.

There's much less nutritional value in solid food than in breast or formula milk. So by replacing it with cow's milk you'll be denying him calories. Cows' milk is also comparatively low in iron.

At his age he should really be having mainly formula or breast milk with a little solid food and water with meals. There is no rush.

Sorry, also agree with the others - the main drink should be breast or formula until 12 months.

small amounts of cows milk can be used in cereal, in cooking, etc from 6 months but the main drink should remain breast/formula milk until 1 year as cows milk is low in iron and vitamins
