BLW 1 year old DS gone off vegetables

My BLW son will eat veggies if 'disguised' in omelettes or pasta etc, but has started to sling them out of the bowl if delivered steamed etc. He wasn't always this way; he LOVED courgettes but even those land on the floor.

I am really health conscious and really want him to like eating vegetables. Is it a phase? Normal? Anything I can do except continuing to offer them?

Is it only steamed? What about roasted or uncooked etc. Maybe it's the outer texture of the veggies in his hand he doesn't like?

Steamed, roasted, raw...all the same difference. They land on the floor

My DD has only ever eaten peas or sweetcorn and sometimes sweet potato. To get other vegetables into her I basically chop them up and cover them in cheese sauce (cheese sauce can be frozen in ice cube trays) - you could give this a try?

cheese sauce is the answer Grin

and for goodness sake just because they land on the floor, don't stop serving them up. Eventually they will be tried again and accepted.

oh, and my DS would eat thick broccoli soup when he went off all green veg......

My son is 2.5 and has not eaten a vegetable since he turned one-- sob
I serve them up, he says yuck and picks them off the plate and puts them on the table!

I will persevere _ he also hates sauces so can't disguise them grr

In my darker moments I blame blw esp for the sauce :(
