Bit naïve and didn't know that babies weren't meant to have strawberries and I've given 8 month old DS the ellas kitchen strawberry pouch and he was fine, had it a couple times so do you think he'd be alright to eat strawberries?

they are fine from 6 months - you just have to watch for any reaction.

Babies can have strawberries - some babies are allergic to strawberries (or kiwi fruit, pineapples - anything pretty much!) but if he hasn't had a reaction then your DS isn't!

There's no need to restrict potentially allergic foods unless your baby is actually allergic.
