17 month old dd was making reasonable progress with a spoon and occasionally a fork, but now the novelty appears to have worn off and she's gone back to shovelling food in with her fingers. The only thing she was still consistently using her spoon for was yoghurts, until today, and this lunchtime she just chucked her yoghurt spoon on the floor and waited for me to spoon feed her. How much of a hard line should I take? Refuse to spoon feed her so she has to do it? Keep turning a blind eye to the finger eating and just keep on setting an example with my own table manners?
