does any one have advice for me my dd is 9 months old and wont eat food with lumps in it not even the babyfood in the supermarket that has whole vegies (peas etc) if ther is a lump she spits it out but she will happily munch on buscuits, chips and bread. What now???

Karma's right - my dd now 10mths would gag on anything and make her self sick, so now at least one meal a day is finger food - steamed veggies, cooked pasta, rice, raisins, bananas etc, at first she found it difficult and would gag, but now she'll have a go at anything, I always top her up with a yogurt and I can now give her lumpy cooked meals and she manages them much better. Also I find that finger food keeps her busy so that I can eat at the same time or drink a cup of tea brillient if we're out for lunch - messy but worth it.

thanks I will try that starting tomorrow so basically give her finger foods and then top her up with yoghurt sounds good to me
