Breakfast ideas please

My 9mo dd1 will not eat breakfast cereals. We have tried porridge, baby porridge, ready brek, and weetabix. We've also tried them with bm, formula, and full fat cows milk. After 3 months, we have just about given up! So, I'm looking for alternative breakfast ideas. At the moment, she usually gets toast with either cream cheese or avocado on top, followed by yogurt and fruit. Or sometimes, I give her eggy bread instead of toast. I'd really like to give her more variety at breakfast. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks!

How about trying stirring fruit purée into the porridge/ weetabix etc? Also, you could try pancakes/ scotch pancakes, croissants, English muffins or banana bread. Low salt baked beans? Finally, my daughter loves scrambled egg!

My DD (9 mo) won't eat most breakfast cereals either, but she does like mini shredded wheats soaked in milk, which she can pick up individually.

Scotch pancakes are also very easy: add one egg and 1/4 pint milk to 4 oz self-raising flour and whisk together. Cook tablespoonfuls in a hot pan in a tiny bit of butter. Nice spread with some fruit puree. You can also add sultanas or blueberries etc to the batter.

maybe your lo would prefer crunchier cereals as all the ones you have offered are mushy. You could try shreddies, cheerios (more sugary), rice krispies, rice krispies multi-grain shapes, etc and see if she likes them. What about fruit teacakes, brioche, scotch pancakes, etc

Scrambled egg and toast?
Cereal without milk, milk in a cup?
Raisins
Bits of smoked salmon or meat
Fruit salad
Yoghurt
Let her steal some of your cereal? Bran flakes were an unexpected hit here!

Have you tried putting blueberries in porridge? They seem to like the colour! Toast with bananas is very nice too.

Thank you for all the suggestions. We've tried bitesize shredded wheat and the scotch pancakes. Next to try is porridge with blueberries!
