do they exist? I like cooking for DS, 7.5 months, but hate having to make stocks for things like cottage pie, stew etc to ensure there is no salt.

Does anyone know of a brand that makes very low or no salt stalk??

Heinz do veg and chicken stock cubes that are apparently ok for babies (haven't looked closely at ingredients though). They are usually with baby food in the supermarket.

wow, i've always avoided Heinz (no real proof guiding that...). just looked at the contents and their veggie stock cubes have 0.03g salt / 100g whereas the Knorr 'low salt' cubes have 0.66g salt / 100g!! Go Heinz :)

Heinz baby ones are the best

I'm using kallo. And I know boots has a range of low salt stock too.

Mimmee · 07/11/2011 21:49

I use the boots baby ones

I think I found mine in the "Free from" section at Asda, along with all the gluten free foods etc. - they are Kallo very low salt, 0.06g per 100g.

Also a boots fan. Organic and no salt Smile

Used Kallo very low salt ones here when weaning. Not convinced they add any flavour though, TBH!

Ditto boots.

I use the vegan Bouillon tub of loose powder.
