I didn't give either of my DSs pineapple fingers until they were about 8/9 months old. You could always blend it with other fruits and give as a puree.

Mine had it at 5 months ish & loved it. Yes in fingers.

Worried it might be too harsh on his tummy? We've only done banana, pear, broccoli, cauliflower and carrot so far, all quite bland.
It's been sent in my veg box, along with some grapefruits, could both make for some interesting faces I suppose Grin

Ifitsnotanarse- did you purposely wait? If so, why?

My DD 7.5 mo had her first pineapple finger today and loved it. No reason why she didn't have it before I just didn't think about it!

He probably won't eat a lot of it anyway at the moment. DD had a good suck and gummed it and then flung it Smile

You could grill it with cinnamon, that's lovely

Only waited to give it cut into fingers until then as I wanted to make sure he wouldn't choke on it. He loved it though and its great for teething gums if straight from the fridge.

Also DS2 was 8 weeks early so at 8/9 months he was 6/7 months adjusted.
