Any tips on getting water into my dd.

My dd gets quite constipated and she is now being weaned. I need to get more water into her but i'm finding it really hard.

If I try with the sippy cup she simply spits it out, with a normal bottle she refuses to drink it.

My dd adores Gripe water and I even added a little bit to some water the other day and she drank some but not really enough.

I add a little more water than required to her milk, (GP advised). But she only has 4 5oz bottles a day now so i'm worried she isn't getting enough water.

Anyone with any tips?

I have always found that they will take some from a sippy cup if you just put a little in a freeflow one and leave them in the high chair to play with it.

Otherwise just offer lots of fruit perhaps - melon, soft fruit, things like that? Fun to play with and even if she only gums them she'll be getting some fluid.

We mix a little innocent apple juice in. DD gulps it down!

We put a tiny dash of fresh orange juice in it
