If you want to store foods or make purée up in advance for your LO, do you need to sterilise the pots you are storing the food in? I know its a stupid question but I don't want to do it wrong! Thanks!

I don't sterilise the food pots, I put them in the dishwasher so they get very hot and then rinse them afterwards.

Maybe if you are weaning early i.e. 4 months I might have sterilised them.

Not weaning early, DD is a week shy of 6 months. I can't sterilise the blender or utensils so I'm thinking where's the point in sterilising the pots anyway?! Perhaps there's my answer!

I suspect that freezing them is going to kill off any bugs too anyway.

I think at 6 months they need to start building their immunity.
