I'm sure this has been done to death but..

My six month old would eat sweet stuff until it comes out of her ears. I'm trying to give her sensible portions, she grunts when she wants more and stops opening her mouth when she's had enough.

A sample menu, today, for example, has been:

Breakfast - one weetabix with milk
Lunch - five cubes of parsnip and carrot
Tea - Cod with sweet potatoes and leeks, three cubes stewed apple and cinnamon with greek yoghurt (three teaspoons)

She has about 18-20 ounces formula a day.

How much food is enough? When do you give them snacks?
