I need a Blender - Recommendations please

Hello,
Im about to start making up some purees etc (plus i like to make my own soups and smoothies) and my argos value liquidiser is now not cut up to the job - as i tried to puree some berries and ended up with chopped berries in a berry slush!

What blenders do you ladies use to get a good puree? Can you let me know what model you have and if you are happy with the results?

I see that Lindam do a mini blender - is this any cop?

I just got one of these and love it. Very fast blending.

we just used a cheap hand blender for purees

We just use a really cheapo one, think it was Tesco or Sainsburys basics and its a hand held one. Very cheap and does the job, makes lovely soups and milkshakes.
