Is oatbran ok for a 6 month old?

it's made from oats rather than bran - can't remember if there's any issue with oats??

I wouldn't give it to you DC if I were you. Oatbran swells with water in your tummy - so may fill up DC more than you realise. I have oatbran with yoghurt for breakfast - as I'm trying to do the Dukan diet (but not very well!)
It fills me up til lunch time. My DS (10 months) tried a spoonful one morning and didn't poo for 2 days - may have been a coincidence. But I've not risked it again.
