Can anyone give me advice on the best equipment for making up babies first purees? There are so many blenders, food processors, mini choppers I don't know where to start! I don't want to spend to much ;) any recommendations? Thanks :D

any ordinary blender will be fine, although, sfter 3 babies, I would recommend BLW and not a blender in sight Smile

We have a 'stick blender' from Asda. It only cost £8 (it may have been £7 or £9, I forget) and is brilliant - easy to use and very easy to wash. Also, you can do very smooth purees, or lumpier ones depending on your baby's stage.

We're combining purees with BLW - I haven't found purees difficult to make with a stick blender.

Just been into town and bought one today! So glad I didn't need to spend a fortune.
