do you need to change teats after 16 months?

what would you buy and how the baby react to a new teat?

they are quite old and in a bad state...
ds doesn't seem to mind...but

do I need to but a new one and what size...

avent bottle...

they are tomme tippy variflo

Size doesn't matter too much, but for hygienes sake i would buy new ones. DD never seemed to notice when i changed her teats, but then she was used to mixed feeding. I suppose if your son has become very attached to the one it may be harder - but could also be a good way to give up the bottle!

If baby is 16mts, then maybe you should get a transitioning teat (like Tommy Tippee does) and then get onto a beaker.
