Question on honey

Does cooking honey kill botulism? On complete autopilot I have just tossed some parsnips in a mixture of orange juice, mustard and - you guessed it - honey! Was supposed to be for DD's lunch....

I'm hoping so as dh mentioned at the end of our roast yesterday that the pork had honey on. Don't think dd3 ate much of it but it was in the gravy

Coincidentally, I checked this the other day out of idle interest.

As far as I can tell, the spore can only be killed by boiling at 121 degreesC for three minutes. So no, normal boiling/cooking doesn't kill it.

No it doesn't.

Oh, bugger. Parsnips for lunch for me then!
