question about Ella's puches etc....

I find Ella's kitchen/Plum pouches etc handy when out and about with 6mo ds, who we have been weaning for the past few weeks. However, they have different stages on the front - some of them say 7m+, 10m+ etc. But my understanding was that from 6m they could have anything (except honey, whole nuts etc)?

Is it just that the textures are a bit coarser in the stage 2 and 3 food? My ds has had quite lumpy stuff already - eg mashed veg rather than pureed, porridge with proper oats etc - so will he be ok on some of the stage 2 stuff?

That's my understanding although I've not used those particular ones Ive bought the snack things & ignored the age range

Yeah it's just the texture, we did mix of mashed food & blw, so we just ignored ages also.

I give my DD (nearly 7 months) the stage 2 and have done since we started weaning as she seemed to like the texture better than puree's. x
