Hi, my dd has got really bad reflux and is on drugs to help control it. She is now 13 months and weaning her is a nightmare, she eats very small amounts. She is small for her age and strugles to put on weight. Her food is very smooth and gags if she has lumps or finger foods. Due to the reflux she also has a very limited food, she can't eat any dairy, soya, gluten and eggs. She also gets lots of tummy ache from eating foods. Does anyone else have the same problems?

DD1 was extremely difficult to wean also. If her weight gain is slow is she on a fortified milk like infatrini? I found it helpful and reassuring to know her nutritional needs were being met and it took a lot of stress out of the weaning. She did eventually get there and has a very healthy diet now.
