Strawberry puree

Just wondering whether I need to avoid the seeds in the strawberries for a puree for an almost-6 month old? Thanks!

Strawberries can be allergenic, so I'd possibly hold off for that reason, but I shouldn't think seeds are a problem.

They can cause a reaction around the mouth early on but at 6 months I'd skip the puree and just give them the strawberry!

My LO is 7 months old and today I gave her strawberry, apple and mint purée. She went absolutely mad for it! I tried a bit too and it was delicious :)

A whole strawberry was my DSs first food at nearly 6mo... it got a SERIOUS staring at!
