Stupid question, but is 6 months 24 or 26 weeks? Baby is 23 weeks and planning to start weaning tomorrow as he seems ready...is this too soon to treat him like a 6 month old?!

If he's absolutely ready at 23 weeks then go for it. There's no magic switch that goes off at 26 weeks.

26 weeks is 6 months though.
