My DD had the same (and we have since found out she had a peanut allergy too).

She has largely grown out of dairy allergy now.

We just used to use the soya milk instead of normal milk to mix with things, and she continued for longer than recommended with her bottles of soya milk to make sure she got the added vits etc.

As long as you give a wide variety of fruit, veg and meat. (Fish as well but check she is ok with - same with egg too). She should be fine.

You get used to checking labels in the end - it because second nature. Whey powder is milk derivative for example.

Was saying to my dp today that its strange (with our DS) that he doesnt have dairy allergy but i still check all the labels anyway.

HTH.

it "becomes" second nature i mean.

Plus, see if your gp can direct you to a dietician for further advice too.
