I am currrently cutting out BFs in favour of formula for 23 wk old DS2. We are also weaning. At the moment he has:

-BF anytime between 5 and 6am
-Banana/Baby Rice at around 9.30am, with 210 mls of formula
-Pureed Veg, water and teeny tiny BF at 12.30
-210mls formula at 3.30
-210mls formula at 6.30

He has only just started going through the night without a BF.

Is this enough milk, or will it be if I cut out the BF with lunch at 12.30, should I give a formula feed then aswell? I may keep doing the early morning BF for a while yet as I just cant stop completely yet.

I'm quite sad about moving to formula but really feel the need to wear an underwired bra again!!

I just cannot remember what I did for DS1!

From 6 to 12 months the guideline is 500-600ml of formula a day - you can count dairy in food towards this total though.
