hand blender recommendations

Hi,

I started looking at hand blenders online and am not sure what to go for. Ideally, I would like one that will also blend soups in the saucepan but could be a bit of an overkill when preparing baby purees.

What do you use and what do you think of it?

I bought a Russell Hobbs hand blender with a beaker for blending purees in, only used it a few times so far but it seems fine. Using the beaker stops the food splattering everywhere which was a problem with the last one I bought. Got it from Argos, just looked and it's a third off the price at moment.
