How many of you stuck to the 4 day rule for introducing new food?
My DH and his family have asthma so I thought I should take things slowly.
Our 6mo has been trying various purees for 2 weeks now and doing well.
I'm a bit worried about iron deficiency though, as we end up stuck with same food for 4 days.
So far DS has had pear, carrot, courgette, and pea purees mixed with the usual baby rice and formula milk.
When I introduce something new, I do it at the lunchtime feed and mix it with something DS already has been OK with.
Also how do people introduce meat? I read that you can make chicken stock (what a hassle!?!) and mix this in with the veg purees to get them used to the taste before introducing meat properly.
