Baby corn and sugar snaps - ok as uncooked snack for BLW?

Just what the title says really, I gave my DS (7mths) some sugar snaps and baby corn today and just wondered if I should have steamed them first... I broke off the tips of the sugar snap and took the stringy bit out, is this ok?

I would have said no to uncooked, but then I would rather err on the side of caution re: choking. But if they're not steamed and the baby has very few teeth, how would they break the pieces down? But sounds like your DS was fine with them!

Hmm.. he was fine although he did hang on to a bit in his cheek for about an hour... I got panicky and hooked it out (I know, I know, not the right thing to do) and he was most put out. Might try them steamed today and see if it's easier for him/less stressy for me!

I've hooked things out, can't help myself!
