Annabel Karmel recipies and red onion....

I am assuming red onion is ok to use in recipies right?

Any colour of onion will be fine.

It might sound silly but I made one of her purees and the cooking liquid went a horrible brown colour - just didn't look right somehow!

I guess your baby won't care what colour it is!

Red onion is milder in taste than white onions, but they can be used interchangeably, don't see why not.
