got some lovely cinnamon and raisan ones, and she was looking longingly at them this morning. shall i split one with her tomorrow morning?

Is there any allergy in your family, misdee? - cinnamon is one of those things you should hold off on if there is - otherwise go ahead

8months. no specific food allergies, food colourins tho, and these dont have any.

Just curious Janh - why is cinnamon to be avoided for allergy reasons? What group of foods does it come under?

Not sure about cinamon but definitively beware of sesame and mustard seeds on them which are common allergens.

On the positive side the only ready made bread DS can have are plain bagels so they should be OK(he is allergic to ALL common allergens minus glutten)

I heard years ago that most spices should be introduced cautiously, and not too early - this is from a pharmacy site about cinnamon:

and if you google them individually most spices will come up with something similar. (Mind you Indian babies are weaned on curries and I don't suppose they leave the spices out of those!)
