BLW - 6.5 mth old completely uninterested in dinner

Hi all

Have been BLW with my 6.5 mth old DS for the last month and so far, so good. Only one issue is that he's really disinterested in food at dinner time - should I just keep things low key and not worry about it, assuming he'll catch on soon? He chows down with great enthusiasm at lunch and is mostly good at breakfast, but ignores the food at dinner.

don't worry about it. Perfectly normal

He's probably tired TBH. Dinner was the last meal DS ate properly - not until 9 months did we get to three meals. If you think about it - this is a game to him, all very new and exciting. So come the end of the day, it's all too much! Once he understands that food fills him up then I'm sure he'll go for it. You could also try earlier tea maybe?

Great, thanks folks, I thought that might be the case. Today we just had a snack at around 4.30 and he seemed much happier. I think I'm too enthusiastic!
