Introducing another 'meal'

My LO is 4 1/2 months and we're on week 3 of traditional weaning. She is currently having two 'meals' a day - lunch and tea.

Just wondering when I should be introducing a third meal - in our case, breakfast...?

Also, she currently doesn't wake up until 9/10am (after a feed at 5/6am) so I'm not sure how I'm going to fit in breakfast. Will I have to start waking her up at 8am for breakfast...?

4 1/2 months is still quite young to wean. Why are you so keen to add another meal? If she sleeps well and is otherwise healthy, I would not do anything yet.

Oh I am no expert btw!

We were advised to wean at 4 months by a paediatrician. I'm not keen to introduce another meal - just not sure when to.

I was asking because here in the UK, it is recommended to wean at 6 months-ish. I would introduce the other meal then, at 6 months.
