Is it ok to give 11 month old granary bread?

stupid question I'm sure but I'm worried it will be an overload of fibre? It's the only bread I eat as don't like White and DS much prefers it as well.

a mix of white and wholegrain is fine - a fully wholegrain diet isnt suitable before the age of 5.

Gosh- never gave it any thought. DD has always had granary/multigrain (now 12 mths) and we haven't had any problems.

I did wonder if it was a bit much. Thanks for that, I shall only give it to him occasionally then.

I meant a mix of wholegrain and white foods e.g. rice, pasta, bread, etc i.e. we give wholemeal bread and white rice and pasta. Granary bread will be fine as long as you dont give all the other foods as wholegrains too.
