Milk in porridge

can I use regular milk to make up baby porridge such as Hipp Organic? DS2 is 6.5 months and I've been using breast or formula thus far, but I'd rather not buy something unnecessarily as I'm bfing still. I know you can use it in cooking, but does this count?

Yes, after 6 months it's fine to use cows milk in cereal.

It's no problem at all. More to do with ordinary cows milk not having all the nutrients in that formula and bm do so not to be used as a replacement, but there's no reason not to use it to make porridge.

Unless you're my Boy who came up in huge urticarial rash all over his face when confronted by cows milk dairy in any shape or form Angry

Bloody hell that makes life difficult.

Paschaelina - this is my exact problem too, and cows milk allergy just been confirmed. Any advice, as I'm yet to see the dietitian we've been promised and have no idea on suitable alternatives (and trying wean 7 month old).

Thanks (and sorry for hijack!!)
