Baby rice

Ds is almost 7mnths and I stopped giving him baby rice a couple of weeks after he started solids as they were making him constipated. He wasn't drinking water and now he drinks lots so is ok.
Does anyone still give baby rice to their baby along with the vegetables? Can I make rice pudding with it? (I have a couple of boxes left over)
If anyone can give me any recipes, I would really appreciate it or do you stop giving the rice after a while? thanks.

I used baby rice to thicken fruit purees when needed and the same with vegetables if they went too runny.
Not used it to make rice pudding as such, but don't see any reason why not.
DD is a year and only just stopped using it now she is self feeding chunks of food rather than mashed stuff!

I used it to thicken up her purees.

With full fat hot milk and a bit of sugar for adults or some pureed fruit, it makes a lovely semolina type stuff! Then, I like milk puddings anyway

If you've got any bits of wallpaper coming down, this is the stuff to use

Sorry, couldn't resist!

No need for baby rice at all at this age. No need for it at all if solids are started at 6 months.

No, no need at all, but it makes a good semolina pudding thing if you're stuck with 2 boxes!

I used it to beef up fruit purees and even make soup easier to spoon feed.
