BLW and constant pooing??

Hi all

I hope you can help and sorry in advance for TMI! I am 2 weeks into BLW with my DS and it's all going really well. However, the amount of poo is phenomenal! I thought at first he was reacting to the milk teeth toothpaste we've been using (as some of the ingredients can have a laxative effect), but there's been no change since we switched to using just water. He doesn't seem to be in any discomfort and is eating and very happy generally, but he's having about 5-6 pooey nappies a day - surely this is too many? Do you think this is just his system getting used to different foods? Am I feeding him too many veges/fruit? Sometimes the poo is quite liquid but not always so I don't think its diarrhea...

Thanks!

He's not teething is he? We've just had two weeks of constant poo from 13mo DD who has been cutting more teeth. It might just be the fruit/veg, try cutting down a bit and see how it goes.

Hmmm could be the teeth - he's just had his first two through and there's been a lot of red cheeks, drooling activity going on so potentially there's more coming soon.

Will cut back on the veges - DS will be pleased, he seems to prefer bread/rice cakes to most things! (Except cucumber...)

Thanks!
