New sleep routine has changed feeding - help!

Hi there,

I was wondering if any of you ladies could give me some wise words of advice. My DD has just turned 7 months and her sleep patterns have changed, therefore changing her feeding times. She used to wake at 7a.m., go to bed at 7p.m. and be awake in the daytime for 2 hours at a time before needing an hour nap. She's on 3 meals a day, and these used to fit perfectly in to the little routine she decided upon.

Now she's awake for 3 hours at a time before needing a nap of an hour. The problem is that breakfast seems to have disappeared!

7.a.m. Bottle
9a.m. Failed breakfast which becomes a bottle (she used to have b'fast and a bottle)
10 a.m. Nap
11a.m. Awake and Lunch with a drink of water
2p.m. Nap
3p.m. Awake and Tea and bottle
6 / 7p.m. Bed time and last bottle

I try to give her her breakfast at about 9a.m., but she won't have it. If I give her a bottle before solids she just isn't interested in anything solid at all (I've tried this and we've just gone back to the bottle all day), so we always do solids first and then a bottle (which she finishes).

Apologies for the length! Any ideas or advice would be gratefully received.

what about brekkie an hour after milk? Then shes a bit hungry but not so hungry to only want milk

Thanks muslimah - good idea. Eating seems to have gone completely out of the window today as just about everything that's being offered is being refused (apart from mango and yoghurt). She is teething (has first bottom one coming out) so I'm hoping it's to do with that.

How about doing a bottle at 7am and then breakfast at 8am, and leave it at just three bottles a day now?
