hello,am a bit new to this. my baby is 4.5 months and has started waking at 5am for the past 4 weeks when she was sleeping well until 7am. i put it down to her injections, then her teething and then habit but nothing seems to stop her! she is not that interested in her bottles anymore and definitely not her 7am one - only takes about half. a few friends have told me to introduce babyrice after midmorning feed? anyone had a similar experience?

Sounds quite young to wean - you know the guidelines are 6 months? Not sure babyrice mid-morning will make her sleep later either.

Increased waking is no longer thought of as a sign to wean, more to do with developmental spurts. If she is hungry you are better increasing milk feeds than giving baby rice as milk has more nutrition in than the rice.
