I can't express all that much and would like to make my milk go further....also would be nice to get DD used to the taste too for when I give up breastfeeding.

Any advice would be welcome.

You can mix, but it would be a hassle to make up such small quantites of formula, I would have thought.... how old is DD? From 6 months you can use cow's milk which is easier than EBM and cheaper than formula.

Yes I suppose thats true. She is 5 months so will express for the baby rice for a while and then before I know it she won't need it anymore! I just wanted her to get used to the taste more than anything.....

Or I could water my breast milk down with cooled boiled water?

Hmmm - personally I wouldn't want to do that because it would mean less calories per spoonful, and she'd still be getting just as full up on it as if it was made up with milk.
