Did I introduce chicken too early?

DD is 7 1/2 months and I have been giving her solids for about 6 weeks. She has always been a 'sickie' baby but after giving her a meal containing chicken she was worse. Normally her sick is very milky and comes up soon after feeding but this time it was very watery and smelt like proper sick. She only had a few spoonfuls of the chicken stuff (as it was a bit too warm and she got upset ). Does anyone think I introduced too early or could it be something else?

did you make the meal yourself or the jars? as if you made it yourself, was she gagging? (trying to puke up) as if yes, make sure the chicken is VERY blended and pureed with no lumps in it at all as they've only got a tiny throat opening as they arent used to solids atm

(as i remember mine was going thru stages like that )

It was one I made myself. Chopped the chicken up in a food mixer so was in tiny bits, and blended and sieved the veg.

She wasn't gagging at the time.

maybe best to leave it for another month and have a go again

as i rememeber when my 12 months old baba was about your babas age and she was always gagging on the brocolli so i tried it twice and i left it for another month and she was fine with it.
