Lunch and tea - what should 10 mo be eating?

10 mo ds is still having 2 warm cooked meals (if you know what I mean!) - when should he be having more of a snacky type meal at either lunch or tea and then a warm, larger meal at the other? I suppose what I mean is like what we have??? Find it a real pain taking food out and about at the moment as always have to find somewhere that will heat it up!!

I just give my 8 month old what I've having - surely it's up to you what you feed him?

my little one is 10 months and he has sandwiches and snacky bits for lunch and meat and veg or something like that for dinner. he been having lighter lunches since he was 8 months as i was told that he shouldnt be having two warm dinners ??

Who says they can't have two warm meals?!

MrsGravy · 02/04/2011 21:17

They can have snacky bits from 6 months on! But you can give them two warm meals if you prefer, it's entirely up to you. The type of snacky bits my 9 month old has is, sanwiches, cheese on toast, omelette/scrambled/boiled egg, oat cakes, crumpets, ham, grated cheese, hummus and pitta bread, pasta and pesto, home made pizza etc etc
