7.5 month old stopped solids

Hi,
My 7.5 month breastfed baby has stopped taking solids!
We stared her on solids just after 6 months.
She took to the solids really well and was soon having 3 small meals a day.
Last week she became poorly with a cold and possible sore throat. Since this she is refusing any kind of solid food and will only take breast milk.
Is this normal? Has anyone got any advice on how to get her interested in food again?? It seems like we have gone backwards..

Are you spoonfeeding or letting her feed herself? It might be worth giving her some finger food (big chumks) and let her see what she makes of it as a tasty toy rather than 'food'. Otherwise, I think try not to worry. Milk is her main food until 1 anyway and certainly mine 4 and 18m go through phases of not really eating anything...

She's just got out of the habit, probably. Agree with pp, try just a few finger foods and don't worry about it. My DD barely ate anything solid until she was twelve months old. There's too much emphasis on weaning onto solids, IMO. Milk is still her main source of nutrition at the moment, with solids, she's just practising. Babies and toddlers don't eat like adults. Please don't get worried or stressed about it. She'll start to be interested again at some point.

Sorry about all those short, staccato sentences. I think I need to go to bed.

Thanks for all the advice. I have been spoonfeeding her with the occasional finger food. To be quite honest I am having quite a tough time to try to get my mind around feeding her finger food. She is my first baby and the fear of choking is so great I think I am being way to careful!!
A lady that I used to work with lost her baby to a choking accident at nursery and I can't get that out of mu head.
What type of finger foods can you suggest? At the moment I have given her cooked carrot. banana, avacado and toast but as soon as she manages to break it up in her mouth I panic and take it out incase she chokes.
What size should finger food be? My little one only has the one tooth, should I wait for her to get more teeth?
Any help you can give me on this would be really appreciated.

My daughter is 8 months and still hasnt got the hang of finger food! I put it in her hand but she just plays with it! I have to feed it her. She has no teeth yet so i also worry about her choking, but i just make sure she only has bits at a time, which i suppose it easy to do if im feeding her!

When my LO was that age, she ate nothing, or teeny amounts, as aforementioned, but she would generally have a chew on a rice cake, roasted vegetables (try sweet potato - it goes nice and squishy), and little pancakes.
