BLW and Dad possibly lactose intolerant?

Right, I'm a bit confused about this so please bear with me.
I was thinking of giving DD(6months) some porridge with cow's milk. She has been ebf and we have been doing BLW for a week and she loves it.
DH is Asian and we think might be lactose intolerant. He has never been tested and can eat cheese and yoghurt but milk sends him to the bathroom sharpish. So he just avoids it.
I know lactose intolerance is different in adults and is also different to a milk allergy. And breastmilk obviously contains lactose. So am I ok to try her with some cow's milk in the porridge or should I wait?( oh and we also have eczema and hayfever in the family, just to make it more complicated!)

ok well you are right that breastmilk contains (lots of) lactose.... so if she was lactose intolerant then you'd know about it already:)

i would try it and see how you go!
