Seeded bread...ok as finger food?

Just given my 6 month old some toast from seeded wholegrain bread..is this ok? Just thought it not be ok before a year (though might be imagining I've heard this). She's doing well with it, seems to be enjoying it.

My DS eats it - as it's the only bread we have! Can't see any problems, the seeds are too small to be a choking hazard, it's only whole nuts that we need to worry about, isn't it?

She should be absolutely fine, if there are no allergies in your family then I don't think there's any reason not to give it to her.

Thanks for the reassurance :)

Watch out though - it makes for interesting nappies Grin
