Guys...

DD is nearly 6 months... she absolutely loves food. She has three meals a day and is really happy... but, she does not seem to eat much milk... how much does she need? she has between 16 and 24 oz over a 24hour period. Am concerned that its not very much and that she's really weaning herself too quickly.

What do you think?

The recommendation is a pint a day up to 12 months (I think).

God, I can't think in oz just now.... I know the recommended minimum is 600ml/day, 600-800ml is a daily range I hear quoted a lot....
I think it's quite important to keep the milk up, that['s where she'll be getting most of her nutrition from, now the other stuff (sounds mad, but I think that's right...). My dd is nearly 7 months, and she's still on 2 meals a day, as I can't seem to get everything into her in the 12 day time hours with an extra meal thrown in!

They need at least 600ml which is roughly a pint. Or two 8 oz bottles!
I give my 9.5 month ds two 8oz bottles a day, and make sure he eats yoghurt/cheese. He sometimes has a 6oz bottle in the afternoon if he needs it, but he doesnt always have it.

that;'s fine... recommended intake is 17-20oz a day
