Am I feeding him too much?

Hi,

DS is 6.5 months. I started weaning at 19 weeks and touchwood all's gone well. The past couple of days I've been feeding him until he wants to stop eating. So for lunch it has been a jar of food followed by half a jar of fruit puree for dessert, then dinner has been a bowl of baby rice, then a full jar of yoghurt/fruit. Does this seem like too much? He's seeming more settled and contented from it and sleeping better and being less grisley but wondered if it seemed a lot.

Hi, I think the quantity of food isn't really the question. Its more important that he's still having the right amount of milk for his age. Don't let the food take over from the milk to soon.
But seeing as he's well and contented I can't see any real problem with the quantity.
