Hi all,

I try to give DS a home made meal at tea time but usually go with jars for lunch.. I noticed Tesco have the Heinz tins of baby food on offer at the mo.. much cheaper than C&W.

Anyone else using the Heinz tins... are they any good???

I'd compare the amount of added water and fillers between the two as it may end up cheaper but have less nutritional content

We were bought some Heinz tins by MIL. Often chose a hipp jar but mostly cooked my own as ds was PFB. The Heinz one stank to high heaven and not of what was meant to be in there. We had already learnt if it smells bad on the way in it is awful on the way out. We were right! Very grim so ignored rest of Heinz stuff too. think ingredients list didn't inspire me either!
