Organix Baby Rice Instructions

Hi, has anyone else found that when using Organix brand Baby Rice the instructions state to mix 1 tablespoon of rice to 3 tablespoons of milk, and when you do it's thicker than concrete?! Thought first weaning foods were meant to be ultra runny?

Just mix it to how you think it should be/want it to be. Ignore instructions!

Agree with pommedeterre. I have been using that brand since 2005 and never looked at any instructions. Mix it to the consistency your baby prefers would be my advice! My first son would not take any other brand..

It gets sloppier after a while. so I find best to start off with it just liquid enough (50ml to 1tbs) and then it will liquify as the feed goes on

Yes, I had found that too, sequin, and wondered if that was how other people made it! I also find that it gets more solid about a minute after it's been made, so add more milk than it seems to need at first. Dd loves it mixed with mashed banana Smile

Thanks for that, thought I was going mad, baby brain and all! Cheers :)
