Fewer wet nappies when weaning

Hi all,

DD is nearly 7 months old and still breastfed, but doing really well with baby led weaning at the moment.

I have noticed though that she is having fewer heavy/wet nappies than she used to, is this just because she is having less fluid? She is breastfeeding less now she is eating (which indicates more is going down than the mess would have me believe!).

Is this normal? I don't want to find that actually I am depriving her of something, but she'd tell me wouldn't she?!

Are you offering water with meals?
