Should I be worried....

my 7.5 mth DD doesn't seem that interested in eating and it's very difficult to get her to take a spoon. I took her to HV and she has dropped 2 centiles from her birth weight. She is quite little.
In other ways she is developing; starting to crawl, going from lying to sitting, saying 'mama', bright and alert...but not that interested in eating.
I did do BLW with DS1 and have tried a bit of that, she does like sticks of broccoli, pieces of fish etc but most of it goes on the floor and not her stomach. For some reason I do have a brain blank on what finger foods i can give her. I did hope she'd go for spoon and puree as more of it goes in tum.
Basically she is happiest snuggled next to me breastfeeding. I was going to cut night feeds so she'd be hungry but then we have both been sick, so have carried on just this week . Also because I worry that she isn't geeting enough into her. The HV is horrified and says that no eway is breast milk enough for her. I have tried bottle, and she's not interested.
I have read some posts on here saying that some babies just not into food till 8 - 9 months. I dont' know what I'm trying to say but I am just worried that she's not eating and stresses....any tips, hints, or experience to share....Just to say again that in all other ways she is very bright...

HV is wrong Confused breastmilk is great for them and forms the majority of their calories (breast milk or formula) until 12 months ish.

If she's been ill recently I'm not surprised she's off her food - she probably wants breastmilk more than ever at the moment, because it's familiar, comforting and she gets what she needs from it.

BLW is great - it's all exploration at this age. She'll probably start eating more in the next 1-2 months. This is fine, honestly, please don't worry about it. She sounds like she's doing fine. Bear in mind if she has been ill they can sometimes lose weight - but it doesn't mean she needs to eat loads after this to catch up. It's fine for her to just carry on from this point. Personally I would stop taking her to be weighed now. You will see HV at her 9 month check anyway.

What foods do you like eating? Most things can be finger foods. DS liked cheese on toast :) Cooled and cut into fingers or triangles. They can even pick up things like spaghetti bolognese or baked beans with their fingers. Pretty much any veg is good too, and fruits. Cut things like cherry tomatoes, grapes etc in half though. And pasta is easy for them to hold.

Thank you so much....I thought that the HV was wrong because the HV I had with my DS said that milk forms the main part of their food till 12 months...I think I need to not stress about it.
